from book: FORWARD
In thirty years of publishing, I’ve found that remarkably few photographers have a vision that transcends any debate about what is porn and what is art and what’s the difference and all of that. Diane Arbus, Helmut Newton, Robert Mapplethorpe and Bob Carlos Clarke paved the way, taking sexual imagery out of the realm of pornography and into the world’s art galleries and collections. Will Santillo is their inheritor, moving forward with images that uniquely bring reality to combine with elegance.
Viewing these images, you feel that you have opened a private door and come across something private and special. It’s like a still from a movie, frozen in time. What just happened? And what’s about to happen next? This is entirely new in work at this level. Santillo has not just set a fictional scene; he has recorded something intimate for us to share.

Darkside Magazine is the sexy online magazine aimed at BDSM/fetish lovers the world over. Published six times a year, each issue is rammed with hot photos, sexy stories, lifestyle advice and so much more. Our aim is to create an all-inclusive, fresh, sexy and above all helpful publication about all manner of topics in relation to the fetish lifestyle. Unlike many other fetish publications, we are all-inclusive and love to feature kinky people from all walks of life, whatever they identify themselves as. And we like to make it fun too!
The final print has always been considered the culminating form of the photographic arts. Alas, today we view the photographs of our world on tiny screens with glare and unpredictable color renditions. We have lost our admiration and appreciation for the subtle detailing of a well crafted photo art print.
The time has come again to relish the visual pleasures of the print, as a means to comprehend and appreciate the photographer’s true artistic vision.
Towards that goal, this Gallery online store presents over 90 carefully curated images from nearly 35 years of photographic sessions by Will Santillo. The collection has been divided into themes that explore specific aspects of the sensual and the erotic, to seize your senses and gratify your most private desires.

We carefully planned out our storyboard for this romantic vision of Ava in Paris with great care and anticipation. We started in a wonderful small 5-star hotel, once a brothel, with plans to drive through Paris passing many iconic sights on our way to the Ritz Hotel. Unfortunately, with all our great planning, we did not count on a transit strike! So, we crawled along at nearly a walking pace for over 2 hours as we attempted to route ourselves past our planned sights. In the end, we did manage to get all our iconic vistas in camera and complete the shooting schedule. The gentleman who turns at then end of our video was completely unplanned and unstaged - a lucky break at the end of a frustrating afternoon. Enjoy!

Taschen releases - Lesbians for MenStraight men have always had a thing for lesbians, or rather, for essentially straight women willing to do other women for their male viewing pleasure. The first photo book to document faux lesbian couplings, Dian Hanson’s Lesbians for Men explores the reasons and origins of this quintessential fantasy with over 300 photos ( including a few by SANTILLO ) of the obliging women who’ve kissed, fondled, and fulfilled men’s lesbian cravings from 1890 through to today.
Hardcover, 22.5 x 30 cm, 288 pages
After selling over 20,000 hardcover copies of La Petite Mort world wide, Taschen is pleased to announce a pressing of a second edition, now in softcover.
La Petite Mort—‘the little death’—is a euphemism for orgasm, but the women who masturbate for Toronto photographer Will Santillo ripple with the pleasures of life. This book presents the finest of Santillo’s intimate portfolio, in which each model decided and directed how she would self-stimulate to climax. In accompanying interviews, Dian Hanson speaks with 37 of Santillo’s models about overcoming inhibition and achieving orgasm in front of a stranger with a camera.
